<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">I quickly compared a CWEC file available from the doe2 website with the latest CWEC_V_2016 file from the website above for the same city and sure enough the number of heating degree days have been reduced and cooling
degree days have gone up. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">The issue I have with these files is I can’t seem to determine what years they are based on. The text files available on their ftp site are outdated (they maintain the CWEC files are based on data from 1960-1989), and
the descriptions on the website are ambiguous. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
