As was mentioned later eQuest has some quirks. Another one that
happens when you do a long run of changes is the program will just
freeze and you have to crash it. Again losing your input. Always
keep an up to date backup file. Do lots of saves and file
closing/reopening. You don't need to reboot your computer. Just
let eQuest update and rebuild the file. If it opens save a fresh
backup. Then open the 3D. I try never to go more than an hour
without refreshing the file. You just never know when eQuest is
going to decide to bite your butt. Sucks when you lose a few hours
work.<br>

does disappear when you’ve made a lot of changes to the
geometry – this usually happens as soon as you attempt to
rotate or zoom the image. Reset camera, etc does NOT work
when it is due to excessive changes (I think it may have
something to do with the amount of RAM taken up by the
changes so not enough left to operate the 3D view -but don’t
quote me on that…).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

saving it! Yes, you will lose whatever wasn’t saved, but
when you open it back up, the 3D view will be there. It is
also recommended that you reboot your computer at this point
before reopening eQuest in order to clear out the RAM. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
