<div style="font-size: small;">Long time fan, but first time poster. I been searching the archives as well as the doe-2 technical guide for a solution. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">In my proposed case there is a 65 kwh(400 MBH) MT that is attached to both a DHW & WSHP Loop, where the MT outputs to only 1 loop @ any given time. Both loops also have two condensing boilers as a secondary stage of heating. The MT is to be used primarily to maintain a certain water loop temperature & when it can't, two condensing boilers kick in to meet the rest of the load. Either in the off season, or after the water loop reaches a certain temperature, bypass kicks in & the heat is bypassed to the DHW loop. </span>

<div style="font-size: small;">I have played around with both gas as well as an engine turbines. I know with the engine turbine you can attach two loops, however I am not entirely too sure how to set up the MT in such a way that reflect design conditions. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">As a work around, I was considering having two MT's in eQUEST and with two individual schedules. Have one MT attached to the DHW & another MT attached to the Condensing water loop & make sure that both schedules add up to 8760 hours. Whenever I try to to that, I can only have one schedule work on both turbines. Is there any other work around that can be used to model this situation? I also noticed that if you put two gas turbines there will not be an output report. The same does not hold true for two engine turbines. why is that? Any insight on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.</span>
