 approach is to use an online tool such as PV Watts.  It requires minimal inputs and you can download hourly production numbers.  These could be dropped into an hourly report spreadsheet along with time of use rates to obtain the net hourly electricity used
 or exported as well as cost.  The value of each kWh exported might be valued differently.  You could also use the hourly spreadsheet to calculate the peak demand offset monthly from PV generation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 EAp2 templates assemble this algebra towards the end, can’t recall if the 2.2 templates do the same), and that figure is used to work out the value of the savings accounted under EAc2.  I would start with the EAc2 template and documentation so far as the overall
 procedure is concerned.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 if you start with some outside task-specific software to determine the amount of power you expect to be generated.  This gives you something to calibrate against without earning a PhD in photovoltaic minutiae.   Kinda similar to geothermal well fields in that
 regard.  I think the RETscreen spreadsheets are among of the series of tools that have been suggested to this end (more in the archives).  <o:p></o:p></span></p>
