also make sure you setup your design day keywords in eQuest (under the “Project” information tab) to match ASHRAE as well.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">To get the degree days from the bin file, you need to convert the bin file to a text file, import into Excel (clean format), and then manually calculate the degree days from the hourly temperatures either by
calculating average daily temp or dividing each days heating/cooling degree-hours by 24. The answers will be different depending on which method you choose.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I looked through the archives and I don’t see this addressed, so I hope I didn’t miss it. For LEED v3 EAp2 the form asks for the weather file and then the HDD and CDD source. I used the TMY2 data file for my city in the model but I can’t
figure out how to determine the HDD and CDD for this source. Does anyone know either how to determine the HDD/CDD numbers from equest or the .bin file, or if the ASHRAE numbers are the same as the TM2 data.<o:p></o:p></p>
