Comparing a GSHP with a conventional HVAC unit using the parametric run options may be difficult because you have additional water-side components with the GSHP that you don’t have with the conventional unit. I would suggest developing two eQUEST models that are identical except for the HVAC system. You could then use the parametric runs to evaluate various efficiencies, strategies, etc within each model. Hope this helps.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Alea<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><i><span style='font-size:11.0pt;color:#1F497D'>____________<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><i><span style='font-size:11.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Alea German<o:p></o:p></span></i></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Staff Engineer<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Davis Energy Group<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'><a href="mailto:agerman@davisenergy.com">agerman@davisenergy.com</a><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'>ph: 530-753-1100 x30<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'>123 C Street<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Davis, CA 95616<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><table class=MsoNormalTable border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 align=left width="98%" style='width:98.08%;border-collapse:collapse'><tr style='height:12.0pt'><td width="100%" style='width:100.0%;padding:0in 0in 0in 0in;height:12.0pt'><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-element:frame;mso-element-frame-hspace:2.25pt;mso-element-wrap:around;mso-element-anchor-vertical:paragraph;mso-element-anchor-horizontal:column;mso-height-rule:exactly'><b><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Webdings;color:green;letter-spacing:1.0pt'>P</span></b><b><span style='font-size:7.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif";color:blue;letter-spacing:1.0pt'> </span></b><b><span style='font-size:7.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif";color:green;letter-spacing:1.0pt'>Please consider the environment before printing this email</span></b><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p></o:p></span></p></td></tr></table><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div style='border:none;border-top:solid #B5C4DF 1.0pt;padding:3.0pt 0in 0in 0in'><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> Vipin Sharma [mailto:sharma_vipin138@yahoo.com] <br><b>Sent:</b> Tuesday, May 17, 2011 9:23 PM<br><b>To:</b> equest-users@lists.onebuilding.org<br><b>Subject:</b> [Equest-users] Modelling of GSHP<o:p></o:p></span></p></div></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><div><div><p class=MsoNormal style='background:white'><span style='color:black'>Hi.............<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal style='background:white'><span style='color:black'> How can I model ground source heat pump in eQUEST.
