<font size="+1">eQuest treats the glass and the frame as separate
items. They are totally different thermodynamically. There is
much more to window glass than just insulation value. I normally
create windows and frames inside eQuest. You could then just
check with window6 to confirm your overall value. I don't believe
many people are having success importing window data from other
programs.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">I created a window using Window6 and the
results appear to
be correct but when I import it into eQUEST the frame does not
appear to import.
The total window U-Value in eQUEST is 0.25 which makes sense
if it does not
include the frame but the results from Window6 shows a
complete U-Value of
0.434.<o:p></o:p></p>
