see attached hotel1.imp file.

the file you send is in wizard mode. creating/assigning meters is much
easier in detailed mode.

4 meters created:

em2 = utility
pmpi = submeter for pumping
plhw = submeter for plant chillers
flrs = submeter for the different floors.

you have a master fm1 meter (fuel = gas) so the boilers/hot water
defaults to this.

open the .inp file in notepad, you can "find" the meter definitions in
the electric meters section (elec-meter).
just below that section is the pumps section & you'll note the chw,
hw, and cw loop pumps are assigned to elec-meter = "PMPI"

open the .inp file w/equest (it will probably prompt you to save as a
new project) & stay in detailed edit mode. once in you can pick
the airside tab & open the properties for any of the equipment and
change the meter assignments. may be easier in spreadsheet view.

I still cannot do the metering without getting error messages.
Attached is the project (case study for the website http://bepan.info/
) description and eQ .inp & .pd2 files. I want to meter EACH

(1) pumping station (CHW, HW & DHW)

(2) plant equipment (Chillers, Boilers, DHW-heater)

(3) system serving floors for Mechanical, UG-parking, Lobby,
Retail, Htl-Functions, Htl-Rooms, Restaurant.

The project objective is to compare alternative systems (4P-FCU,
WSHP, PTAC, ) for the hotel rooms. Metering examples in the DOE22
manuals are of no help compared to the DOE21E Supplement. I will
making it work in DOE21E first
