The reason that installing software for the current user vs. all users
matters has to do with permissions and privileges associated with
certain directories on your computer. In many corporate, IT-supported
environments it is common for users to have limited permissions
associated w/ the "Public Documents" folder. In these cases, software
being run by users w/ limited permissions to this directory and
attempting to directly access and change files under that folder can
cause a number of issues, including the "Required file not found..."
error.<br>
Re-installing the software only for the current user fixes these issues
by installing the data files under the user's "My Documents" folder.<br>
