Hi All,

I'm experimenting with using a sun-space as a thermal buffer for a residence. I would like to circulate air from the greenhouse into the rest of the building using the "wall parameters" dialog. I haven't tested it too much yet, but it doesn't seem to have much effect. Has anyone used it much? Can you offer some advice?

I have assigned the "wall parameter" to the appropriate construction type, so that is not the issue. Sometimes I get an error that looks like this:

***ERROR***********************************************************************
In routine TEMDEV for ZONE GH ZONE on 1/ 1 hr 22 (InitialFlg = 7)
SUNSPACE INTERIOR-WALL calculations produced bad values:
CSSVEC (convection) = -3211. CSSVEC (conduction) = 0.
This would cause a -25. degree ZONE temperature change. Values are being ignored.
Check wall definitions for errors and report this inp/lib/wth to DOE-2 support.

I have seen the eror with varying degrees of conduction difference... reducing my airflow to a very low airflow makes this error go away. I guess that it can't model cycling for the hour it is called on.

Any additional help or observations are appreciated.

Thanks,

--
Karen
