The selected candidate for this position will participate in the investigation, analysis and documentation of energy conservation measures. <P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) and at least 5 years of direct experience in energy auditing/management and/or HVAC design (Note: Recent graduates with strong academic records and a demonstrated interest in the energy field OR Engineering Technology Associates degree holders with applicable experience will be considered); <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, energy efficiency technologies, alternative energy technologies; green building and high performance design; <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">-AP certification, </SPAN><st1:stockticker><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">CEM</SPAN></st1:stockticker><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'"> and/or LEED preferred<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Field experience pertaining to HVAC, lighting and/or industrial plant equipment and a high level of interest in improving energy efficiency; <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Good analytical, communication and technical report writing skills; <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Proficiency in standard office computer software (Excel and Word); <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Experience with Building Energy Analysis software (DOE 2 or eQUEST preferred); <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Ability to obtain and hold a security clearance (existing DOE or DOD clearance preferred); <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'">• Availability for frequent travel (approximately 12 weeks per year) to conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of energy consuming equipment;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
