<p class="MsoNormal">Table G3.1, Item 6. Baseline Lighting, last sentence states the following;<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">“No automatic lighting controls (e.g. programmable controls or automatic controls for daylighting utilization) shall be modeled in the baseline building design, as the lighting schedules used are understood to reflect the mandatory control
requirement in this standard.”<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am questioning 2 ways to interpret this in the model. I will use a 10,000 sf office building with typical business hours of operation from 8 am to 6 pm. Most spaces are required to have automatic lighting controls as specified in the
Mandatory Provisions of Section 9.4 (ASHREA 90.1).<o:p></o:p></p>
