[Equest-users] Collaborating with eQuest Users to Refine Our CAD Automation Plugin

Dear eQuest Users,

We have developed a *CAD automation plugin* that simplifies and accelerates
the creation of eQuest models directly from CAD drawings. The tool
automates several time-consuming steps while maintaining modeling accuracy
and flexibility.

*Key Features:*

   -

   Imports *spaces, windows,* and *room specifications* from CAD.
   -

   Intersects *roofs and floors* to divide surfaces, providing more precise
   heat transfer information.
   -

   Automatically assigns *external above-grade roofs and floors* as
   *exposed*.
   -

   Generates the *baseline model* automatically.
   -

   Enables assignment of *basic system information* within CAD itself.

While the plugin has been optimized for our internal workflow, we now aim
to *collaborate with other firms* to understand how it performs in
different project environments. By working together on one or two of your
ongoing or upcoming projects, we hope to gather valuable insights and
feedback to further refine and expand its functionality.
