[Equest-users] 15 minute interval peak demand data in eQuest

What did you want to see in the 15-minute data?

The simulation engine is using hourly time steps and all of the inputs are hourly inputs so I think you’d need a different approach if you need 15 minute data for anything other than the start-up load example given below by Patrick.

For whole-building 15-minute data you’d need to provide your own loads and internal gains as well as weather data to drive any higher resolution changes.

Hello Patrick,

Thank you for your insight! I reviewed both ES-F/PS-E reports for peak demand. I was interested to see 15 min interval data for xendee modeling and It's unfortunate that equest can't produce them.

Thanks
Gopi

Hi Gopi,

Unfortunately, there’s no way to pull detailed 15 minutes demand interval as eQUEST only reports hourly values.
You can get the monthly peak 15-min demand kW from the ES-F report.

DOE-2 has a generic sub-hourly profile for each electric component of the systems listed in the snapshot below and uses that profile to determine sub-hourly demand values. This is all within the black box though.

Objet : [Equest-users] 15 minute interval peak demand data in eQuest

Good morning! If there is a chance to pull peak demand kW with 15 minutes interval data in eQuest? Appreciate your help.

Thanks
Gopi
