Thanks Ethan for your helpWhich simulation report shows the the total OA CFM? If it is SV-A, then please note that the OA CFM in this report does not change by changing the minimum OA schedule. Please advise. Thanks Gain for your helpRegardsAhmad

I don’t believe there is report that shows monthly OA CFM, but I could be wrong. Just looking through the “S” reports now and I’m not seeing that. I’d probably run a before and after case and check the difference in total OA to see if
it’s in the ballpark. This could be done with a parametric run and pulling up both simulation reports side by side and reviewing the total difference.

Hello Ethan,
Thanks for your reply
I am trying to change the OA CFM. I created schedules as you suggest below but I could not find the OA CFM fora each zone after I apply these schedules and the OA CFM in the report SV-A did not change.
Do you know where can I find the OA CFM after I apply the new miniminum outside air schedule?
Thanks for the help again
Regards
Ahmad

Ahmad,
Are you trying to vary the system CFM or OA CFM? See below for eQuest’s definition of Minimum OA Sch. The minimum OA schedule varies the hourly OA ratio. To create an annual schedule to vary the CFM seasonally you can create an additional set of weekly/daily
schedules, and then set the run times in the annual schedule.

Hello Guys,
Did anyone have a chance to review my question in my email below?
I found the option to add "Minimum OA Schedule" but this schedule is fraction of what? Is it fraction of the CFM/person
values that we enter in the Zones? I have added this schedule and changed the fractions and the energy consumption and the heating loads have been changed but the OA air flow rate & ratio in the report SV-A has not changed? Am I missing something?
If the "Minimum OA Schedule" changes the OA flow rate, then where can I find this value? I am trying to change
the OA flow rate for a specific value for only three months per year for pandemic mitigation so how can I do that?
Any help will be highly appreciated
Regards
Ahmad
