And one clarification for the thread, the eQUEST program is modeling DHW as described to the program, if you are in the wizard then the wizard will help determine a DHW load from occupancy type and quantity of occupants and library of schedules.

A model made without the wizard would have a specified DHW.

Just want to say that the DHW results would be sensitive to the modelers assumptions, they aren’t “modeled” in a way other than what is given as in input to the program, so verifying the inputs is important if the DHW outputs are important.

I am sure there is an hourly parameter that can be printed out for hot water load. But it would probably be in BtuH, no gallons. I believe you would need a spreadsheet to extract the daily peak as well. I have never tried it, but this rather fits eQuest/DOE2 logic.
