[Equest-users] Heat Recovery of DX cooling Superheat

 Hello John,
The heat recovery of the DX cooling units come with either partial heat recovery or full heat recovery. Partial heat recovery can provide heating capacity of 20 to 30% of the total capacity of the DX unit using a heat exchanger called the de-superheater. Depending on the DX unit capacity, this 20 to 30% heating energy can be used for reheat coils or for DHW.
The full heat recovery can recover all the condenser heat of the DX unit and use it for different purposes. The new 4-Pipe heat recovery chillers in the market these days can do full heat recovery and can provide simultaneous cooling and heating to the building and not only for reheat coils and DHW.
I hope the above will help.
Regards
Ahmad

Does anyone have a simply model example of this process? Can this heat be used for both reheat coils and DHW?
Thank you in advance.
