Jeff I think your right about this with the difference of MS 365. When you explain it this way, it makes perfect sense. I guess the work around to copy the weather files directly is the best option at this time.
Thanks,

Hi All,
Not sure if this is valid, but I have had the same error when trying to get a new weather file.
Do you have MS 365? I do and have noticed that a new “documents” folder is created (in MS 365) which seems to take priority over the normal C-drive “documents” folder (eQuest looks to the C-drive folder for data).
When I try to get a new weather file in eQuest, I think the site tries to access the MS 365 folder (not the C-drive) and gets confused.
I now manually copy the weather file, place it in the C-drive eQuest weather folder, and all works.
Is this something that others have experienced?

Hi Cory,
I can’t help you with the HTTP response error, but perhaps this workflow could prove useful.
You mentioned being able to download and import weather files manually. Anecdotally, I keep a shortcut to the TMY3 folder on my desktop, and have https://doe2.com/Download/Weather/TMY3/<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fdoe2.com%2fDownload%2fWeather%2fTMY3%2f&c=E,1,OYj0NFQbe7JenmfihDuDqt0YaOVlyWnSxiotzs5TSgJVy3eVJGAFFonHXMC4xnKdL6jH-C0SY4YScGe0eDtur-qoS0m6M5CsO742qDJzhJ21DLBSZiH8kw,,&typo=1> bookmarked on my browser. This has always allowed me to quickly access and set up the weather file I need.
Good luck with the server response issue, I wish I could be more help with that.

Having some issues getting Weather data to download in eQuest.
Program installs and launches fine.
If we try to download weather data we get an error stating “Failed to receive a valid HTTP response from the server”.
If we manually download the weather data it downloads successfully and we can manually import the data in eQuest.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has some ideas of how we can get it working successfully.
F.Y.I. eQuest is running on a Windows10 laptop, 64Gb memory, 512 SSD, Corei7, Dedicated graphics.
Thanks
