[Equest-users] Evaporatively Cooled Condenser for Air Cooled Chiller

Hello all,

I have a situation where I need to evaluate an evaporatively cooled
condenser for an air-cooled chiller. There are options to change the
condenser type in Chiller Properties tab like water-cooled, air-cooled,
remote air-cooled & remote evaporatively cooled. But when I try to change
the condenser type using parametric runs I see an additional option
*EVAP-COOLED under air-cooled option. Can anyone let me know how is this
different from remote evaporatively cooled condenser type? And if so, what
performance curves should we use if we select the *EVAP-COOLED as condenser
type. (I tried using both air-cooled chiller PC as well as remote PC but
both showed negative savings between regular air cooled condenser and evap
cooled condenser.)

Appreciate any inputs you can provide,

Sid
