If you have gas as supplement, you fall into the “Hybrid” category.

As a side note, be careful when selecting natural gas as supplement in eQUEST as I don’t really why, but from my personal experience the supplement energy does not show up in the BEPS report (or anywhere else) when you select natural gas as supplement heat.

Good morning,
I am working on a project that is using Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems for ventilation.
These units are designed to supply neutral (~70-75F) temperature air to the building.
Heating is provided by heat pumps, but they have auxiliary natural gas heating to supplement the heat pump heating.
Would my heating fuel be considered "Hybrid" in this case or can I consider it "electric"?  This is for a LEED project, so I am hoping someone has experience with this type of system for LEED.
