Primary responsibilities:


-          Evaluate energy efficiency and renewable energy strategies in buildings, campuses, communities or regional settings and make energy savings recommendations to clients

-          Manage energy efficiency projects, including energy design assistance and owner's representation, primarily for commercial buildings

-          Generate ideas for and support new energy efficiency or renewable program development efforts

-          Communicate results in written, graphical, and presentation formats

Desired skills and experience:

-          3+ years of experience conducting consulting, engineering, or project management in a related field

-          Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in delivering research results and technical information through reports, presentations and webinars

-          Project management or team leadership skills

-          Knowledge of the fundamentals of energy use in buildings

-          BS or MS in related technical field


Other beneficial skills:

-          Experience with building energy systems and modeling

-          Experience with design and construction projects for commercial buildings

-          Experience with demand response, energy storage, smart grid technologies, internet of things, automation and controls technologies, or indoor air quality
