Hi ,
@Arunabha: Yes, It would be correct o model a Heat Recovery Wheel with 50% effectiveness in the baseline building.
(For a Building that uses 100% Fresh Air with an ER wheel)
Though I was trying to figure out how the logic fits into the G3.1.2.10 in this case….
Because it says, The design supply air capacity of Individual fan system must be 5000cfm or greater AND have a min outdoor air supply of 70% or greater of the design supply air quantity then shall have an Energy Recovery wheel with 50% effectiveness?
Best Regards
Kumar

Subject: [Equest-users] ER Wheel in Baseline
Hello there,
In a 5A climate zone, I am working with a Proposed model with a RTU (30,000 CFM, 100% OA) with exhaust air ER wheel in it. I am kinda sure that I've to create a ER wheel for the 90.1 Baseline (as per G3.1.2.10). Just want to make sure if I am correct?
Help please. Thanks
Best,
Aru Sau
