Christopher;

We have run into this issue, with a few potential solutions:
Easy – Close everything and restart computer.
Longer – uninstall/reinstall eQuest.
Harder – Reimage computer

These are the solution paths we’ve found to ‘get around’ the issue….some differing degrees of ‘joy’.
Thanks,

Subject: [Equest-users] eQuest - Visual Fortran runtime error

eQuest has started throwing a run-time error:
forrtl: info (58) format syntax error at or near (Note: u-values include outside air film)’//73X, ‘LOCATION OF ORIGIN’/51X, ‘GL

The model run fine on my colleague’s computer so I assume it isn’t a problem with the input file. We are using the same version of eQuest – 7158. I tried uninstalling eQuest, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting, etc. I tried version 7163, same issue.

This leads me to believe there is something wrong with my system?

Has anyone any insight into what the issue might be?

Subject: [Equest-users] Steam humidification

I’m questionning myself on the calculations made by DOE towards the humidification load.

Does anyone know if the energy necessary to bring cold water make-up to its boiling point is accounted for by DOE?
After a quick look in the engineer’s manual, it seems to me as if the humidification load only accounts for the heat of vaporisation of water. As if the water supply is already at it’s boiling point.

Did I overlook something?
I need a captain here!
