[Equest-users] Day Type versus Day of the Week

Hi all,

 

I've run into a very basic problem that I thought I would document in the User Archives.  In the hourly reports there is day "Type", which returns 1-8.  8 is a holiday.  What is 1 (Sunday or Monday)?

 

There is a "Day of the Week" hourly report, which returns 1-7.  What is 1 (Sunday or Monday)?  If you line the 2 hourly reports up, they do not match.  

 

Based on knowing my simulation start date (1/1/11), I am theorizing that in the "Type" report, 1 = Monday.  And in the "Day of the Week" report, 1 = Sunday.  I have searched through 6 Volumes (and one Det Sim Reports Summary) of eQuest documentation and not found clarity.  I thought I would post this for future users to save them some legwork, and maybe get confirmation from another user.

 

I've found other posts relating to it, but no solid answer.
