Yes. The performance curves for water-cooled equipment will be based
upon a water-cooled machine, so it is necessary to do so.

I understand that when modeling a typical VRV system, to use air cooled
condenser with all the manufacturers information and curves. now, does
this still apply for the system when is is water cooled VRV? should i
change the condenser to water cooled and create a loop for this?
