Hi Yehuda,
If I were in your shoes I would...
1. Start in the DD wizard and get my footprint, zones & custom window
placements in for the input.
2. Input any other "global" type inputs into the DD wizard (i.e. LPD
values, EPD values, and maybe my basic HVAC systems template to get me
started as I then will switch to DDedit mode...
3. "Save As" my wizard file with a new name (i.e. Project Name
Proposed-ddedit May XX.pd2)
4. In the new file, switch into DDedit mode and now focus my attention
& time into the detailed input data that I need to focus on from here on
out.
In general the wizards are a great place to start any model, but not really
too reliable nor do you have many options for detail input if you have
restricted your model to only the "wizards."
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how I would approach
the first steps of this model.
Cheers,
Pasha
