[Equest-users] Sim Error

Omar,

Just guessing here. Using a chilled water system, you probably have a
coil curve called, "CHW-Coil-Cap-fEWB&EWT" as one of your Total Capacity
curves for one or more systems. Look for this in the "Cap Curves" tab
within the Cooling tab of the system(s). For some reason, your chilled
water loop is operating at 77F (EWT - entering water temperature) at
some point in the simulation, which is creating a negative value for the
coil curve. Perhaps your chilled water system is undersized.

Regards,
Bill

Subject: [Equest-users] Sim Error

Hi all,

I am running a simulation but it is not being completed. I am getting
this error in the .sim output file:

"Chilled water loop has a coil curve generating a negative capacity
ratio. Check the loop supply temperature, 77.F, for consistency with the
coil curves."

Can you please advise on this error; I really did not understand it!

Many thanks,
Omar
