[Equest-users] Variable Refrigerant Flow

I cannot seem to find a comparable system in eQUEST to model a VRF
system with dedicated ventilation. My typical system for each floor
consists of approximately 10 indoor units per outdoor condensing unit.
Each indoor unit can heat or cool as needed regardless of what the other
units on the same loop are requesting. The closest I can find is a
split system heat pump, but this will give me too many outdoor units and
a larger total connected tonnage since it will not take credit for the
inverter compressor technology.

In addition I cannot figure out which system to select for the
Ventilation Unit. I have Dx cooling (with dehumidification ability) and
gas heat to deliver 75 degrees directly to the plenum return or the
indoor units themselves. All I can find is a makeup air unit that needs
a space thermostat which I do not have. Any response would be
appreciated.

Thank you,

Alison
