[Equest-users] Grocery store refrigeration in eQUEST

Daniel,
You have 2 options. In the regular version of eQUEST, there are
refrigeration units which can be defined in the zones. You can define 3
temperature case categories. This uses the refrigeration keywords
included in DOE-2.1 (see documentation for details). Note that the
system type must be PSZ to enable the DOE-2.1 keywords. I would use
this version if it is the overall building energy use you are looking at.
OR, you can download the refrigeration version as Carol suggested in
which you can define the refrigeration in great detail including
pressure-flow of the refrigeration circuits. Lots of detail, but lots
of information required. There is a separate dictionary volume in the
documentation for the new refrigeration keywords. I am not sure if the
refrigeration version is included in 3.6 -- you may have to step back to
version 3.55. There is no wizard for the refrigeration version. I
created the envelop using the standard version and then imported into
the refrigeration version. I would use this version if you are looking
at details of the refrigeration system.
Good luck!
Brian
