on </span><span style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">multi-domain simulation workflows for ‘Sustainable Cities & Communities’ (UN SDG11). </span><span style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This
special issue int</span><span style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">ends to showcase examples in which simulation workflows, integrating models from different domains
or disciplines, are used to evidence-base, solve conflicts and/or reconcile design solutions towards achieving UN SDG 11 ‘Sustainable Cities & Communities’. It aims to provoke a more active debate in mitigating the environmental impacts of climate change while
building resilient communities, in tune with the UN blueprint to achieve a sustainable future for all.</span></p>
