<p>The goal of the talk is put into practice the perhaps self-evident but easy to ignore notion that the success of an energy simulation project often hinges on the choice of analysis tool.

</p>

<p align="center">To that end we will look with a critical eye at the details of some modeling projects that TESS has carried out using one such tool called TRNSYS.

</p>

<p align="center">The talk will also provide a brief overview of other tools in an effort to place TRNSYS within the wider energy system analysis landscape.

</p>

<p align="center"><u><strong>Bio:</strong></u></p>

<p>David holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Swarthmore College and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
