When you say "peak month in terms of load", do you mean the month
with the highest peak hourly load or the month with the largest
total load ?

I need to add some caveats to Javed's response:
1) he's assuming that you're using EnergyPlus or an
EnergyPlus-based simulation program. If so, then the comment about
looking at the DDY file makes sense.
2) the DDY file is weakly linked to the simulation weather file
(EPW), and based not on the weather file but the design conditions
table in the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals for the same WMO
station. These design conditions are calculated as near-extreme
conditions (0.4%, 1% for cooling, 99.6%, 99% for heating. etc.) from
long-term weather data and have little relationship with what's in
the simulation weather file. In addition, the DDY file contains only
Annual design conditions, and the only information on monthly
conditions are very general information on what are the coldest and
hottest months, based strictly on
the average monthly temperatures.

If you clarify what you're trying to determine, then I can tell you
more on what you could do.
