A similar set of models (the DOE commercial reference buildings) is also publicly available here:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><a href="http://www1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/commercial/ref_buildings.html">http://www1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/commercial/ref_buildings.html</a><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Since the models are similar, you might wonder why I suggested these. The reason is that some of the system types change between the new construction (per ASHRAE 90.1-2004) models and the existing building (“post1980” and “pre1980” construction) models, so this would give you a broader set of models. Also, the lighting power is higher, and the infiltration is much higher for these existing building models. This can sometimes make the simulations different enough (warm-up time, HVAC iterations, etc.) that you might want to check with these existing building models, too. If you don’t want to look at all of them, then you may just want to do pre1980 in a few cities.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Enjoy!<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Kristin Field, NREL<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div style='border:none;border-top:solid #B5C4DF 1.0pt;padding:3.0pt 0in 0in 0in'><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> bldg-sim-bounces@lists.onebuilding.org [mailto:bldg-sim-bounces@lists.onebuilding.org] <b>On Behalf Of </b>Sami, Vikram<br><b>Sent:</b> Tuesday, December 18, 2012 1:24 PM<br><b>To:</b> Geof Sawaya;
