<div><br></div><div>I think it had something to do with having an input in a greyed-out field in the HVAC systems dialog that was still filled in from a previous iteration of the file, but I can't remember exactly. If you use user defaults, you might want to go through your inp file and get rid of any defaults that aren't current.</div>

They have a building modelling tool (IDA ICE) and a tunnel modelling tool (IDA Road and Tunnel). They both use Equa's general purpose physics solver. The tunnel tool in particular can model the temperature field in the earth/ rock surrounding the tunnel (as well as network airflow, vehicle movement and pollutant transport). It would probably be trivial for the guys at IDA to implement some of the tunnel models in ICE to provide you with a "climate battery" model.<br>
