This position includes the production of coordinated detailed design drawings,
electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules
etc. on a variety of projects within the mechanical discipline. It would also
be beneficial to have experience using REVIT and other computational analysis
tools such as energy simulation, heat gain/heat loss, and pipe sizing tools. <br>

Job Purpose: <br>
To provide a technical/design engineering service to the MEP/Environmental
Group on projects, as directed by the Associate/Job Leader. The candidate must
be a self starter and to be able to work independent of a large office
environment. <br>

Key Requirements and Responsibilities <br>
•Work with a variety of energy analysis software appropriate to the
specific project, including <span class=SpellE>eQuest</span>, <span
class=SpellE>EnergyPlus</span>, and IES VE <br>
•Perform spreadsheet-based calculations of potential energy savings
opportunities for projects at the planning stages and for policy development <br>
•Conduct building energy simulations and models in support of LEED
projects, including new construction and existing buildings <br>
•Assist project teams with the interpretation of and compliance with
ASHRAE Standard 90.1 energy standards <br>
•Take on detailed engineering design tasks<br>
•Prepare technical schedules/specifications<span
