The selection procedure is basically the same between TMY, TMY2, and TMY3, with some changes in the weighting of parameters. This procedure has become adopted by virtually all other (US at least) efforts, including ASHRAE, CEC, etc. </div><div><br></div><div>The format, however, has evolved, w/ TMY3 choosing a CSV format that's easier to import to a spreadsheet program.
