<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>This is a common problem for people
using 64-bit Windows 7. I have that version and have had numerous
32-bit programs that won't run on my 64-bit computer (though some do run.)
The only sure way I know of is to run these under the Windows XP mode. If
you haven't installed that capability, it's available at: <A

<P>I have brought up this subject before and the advice was 32-programs should
work with 64-bit computers using Windows 7. I have just replaced
Vista with Windows 7 Professional. I still cannot run the
DOE2.1E program and the weather processors (PKAFT, MKAFT, STAT, etc.)
besides the APEC-HCCV. I get the message that a 32-bit program will not
run 64-bit computer. I have a lot of files of buildings analyzed with
DOE2.1E</P>
