Haider,

You can do this using eQUEST. Search on the help menu for refrigeration topics. You may have to load the eQUEST refrigeration version available on the DOE2 website.

Good luck,
Carol

Hello All,

I am trying to determine the impact that various energy conservation measures(ECM) have on the required refrigerant charge in a supermarket central refrigeration system. That is if they increase, decrease or have no affect on the design refrigerant charge. Is there a way to figure this out from the outputs of E+, doe2.2R or engineering calculations? The ECMs that I am looking at are floating head pressure, liquid heat exchanger, mechanical subcooling, condenser specific efficiency.

Thank you,

Haider.
