ventilation systems should have additional properties. For some rooms additional
measures need to be taken. The operating theatres and the rooms around it need
special care regarding surgical site infections. They basically are laboratory
environments. If you do not have any experience in this area, consult with

extra cooling and thus possibly a higher ventilation rate.

patients. Some research on this topic has been done in Sheffield and in

recommended ventilation rates based on the type of room considered: operating,
recovery, ... Furthermore, I know specific requirements exist depending on the
risk of infection for or from the patient.</DIV>

research group of Jan Hensen (Technical University Eindhoven), I know they
