Hello,<br><br>I am working on the energy simulation of a hotel building of  two floor height and one lakh square foot. <br>Is ASHRAE 90.1-2004 and LEED NC applicable for this project?<br><br>I found the following relevant sections; <br>


<br>LEED NC Page 14,  &quot;III A : When to Use LEED for New Construction&quot; ,
according to this, hotel of any size is a commercial occupancy and LEED
NC is applicable.<br><br>According to ASHRAE 90.1-2004 definition of  &quot;low
rise residential&quot;  as given on Page 9, hotels doesn&#39;t come under low
rise residential buildings. And as per the foot notes of Table G3.1.1A
on page 176 of Appendix G ASHRAE 90.1-2004, hotel is considered as a
residential building but not a low rise residential building and ASHRAE
is only not applicable to low rise residential building.<br>

<br>From all the above it is clear that ASHRAE 90.1-2004 and LEED NC
are applicable for this project, however it would be great if anyone
