The ideal candidate will have the following skills:<BR>· A strong energy efficiency ethic. Someone who believes in the value of the lighting energy efficiency Standards.<BR>· A basic understanding of lighting codes, standards, and practices, including California Title 24, ASHRAE/IES 90.1, UL, ANSI, Ca Electric Code, IESNA (LMs, RPs, DGs), federal codes, Energy Star…<BR>· Excellent listening and verbal skills. Enjoy working with people having a wide variety of interests and perspectives. Able to explain difficult concepts in an easy to understand manner.<BR>· Excellent writing skills. Able to write clear letters, emails, code language, technical manuals.<BR>· Basic understanding of lighting technology and design.
