My feeling is that there are too many variables here to provide a
definitive answer to your question. However, these are great questions
that commercial and technical managers need to ask at the outset of a
commission that will lead to greater understanding of time constraint
and cost on a project by project basis.<br>

Other questions:<br>
What kind of analysis? E.g. energy benchmarking, loads or proving
natural ventilation. These all require differing details.<br>
Complexity? E.g. facades, atria, plant<br>

size="2">4. How long does it take to build the proposed model?</font></span></p>

size="2">5. How long does it take to build the baseline model (per
ASHRAE 90.1-2004, Appendix G)?</font></span></p>

size="2">6. How long does it take to calculate the results from the
energy simulation program?</font></span></p>

size="2">7. If you have started a projected in the SD phase, how
detailed is the input information you use? How do the results compare
to the energy model developed in CD - within 10%?</font></span></p>
