ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: <br>
<br>
• Utilize computer energy simulation programs (primarily EQuest) to
analyze building systems performance and various energy conservation measures. <br>
<br>
• Read architectural drawings and input building geometry into building
simulation program. <br>
<br>
• Prepare written analysis of findings and participates in presenting
recommendations for improvement in energy efficiency. <br>
<br>
• Works closely with project engineer and project manager to meet project
deadlines. <br>
<br>
• Performs other duties as required. <br>
<br>
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILL LEVEL: <br>
<br>
• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. <br>
<br>
• Excellent task management and problem solving skills <br>
<br>
• Strong analytical and report writing skills <br>
<br>
• Ability to develop spreadsheet analysis for a variety of energy
efficiency measures <br>
<br>
• Familiarity with energy analysis software (e.g. DOE-2, EnergyPlus,
EQuest) is a plus. <br>
<br>
• Good working knowledge of HVAC, lighting, motors, and refrigeration
systems <br>
<br>
• Excellent oral and written communication skills <br>
<br>
• Ability to work as part of a team and be responsible for individual
task completion <br>
<br>
• Excellent organizational skills <br>
<br>
• Good computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel<o:p></o:p></p>
