believe that you can create a steam meter which will represent purchased steam.
Right click on the top level of the project tree under Water-Side HVAC
tab and select, “Create Steam Meter…”. as a plant option.
This will not, however, allow you to model any efficiency losses from the distribution
system (as far as I am aware).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

I am currently modeling a facility in which steam is purchased from a
distributor. ASHRAE says for the model, the baseline shall not be modeled with
a boiler. Does anyone have any feedback as to the best approach to providing
the steam without modeling a boiler system?<br>
