</U>We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead MOVE’s core automotive and heavy trucking programs. Our automotive work focuses on platform efficiency (lightweighting, advanced aerodynamics, reduced accessory loads and drag), electrification (electric and hybrid-electric architectures), and industrial transformation (business issues around creating a new generation of radically efficient rolling platforms). We are looking for a leader with experience and credibility in the automotive or trucking sectors, and capability in both technology and business issues, and the ability to be a thought leader and change agent. The Principal should be comfortable in a wide variety of situations, e.g., engaging with senior management on high-level strategy, leading the creation of a hypothesis-driven advanced technical cost model, and speaking to the general public on complicated technical issues.<BR>

Sample engagements include leading a consulting team in working with an OEM to define and design a new vehicle platform; creating efficiency-focused business cases for fleet customers; performing advanced market research into end-user behavior in targeted markets; leading economic and technical research into new market opportunities like vehicle-to-grid; and leading technology assessments in advanced energy storage, materials, and technologies for automotive markets.<BR>

This position is located in Boulder, Colorado, with some activities in Snowmass, Colorado. Compensation will be in-line with experience.<BR>

</U>We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join the team, with a focus on MOVE’s heavy trucking, freight, and transportation systems programs. We are looking for a candidate with experience and credibility in the sustainable transportation sector, and capability in both technology and business issues. The Consultant will also act as a thought leader and change agent.<BR>

The Consultant should be comfortable in a wide variety of situations such as engaging with clients in high-impact consultant projects, leading the creation of hypothesis-driven advanced business and technical models, and speaking to the general public on complex technical and sustainability issues.<BR>

Sample engagements include consulting with an OEM on energy storage options for a future automotive platform; evaluating the technical feasibility of an electric-vehicle startup for an investment client; performing advanced market research into the state of the art of electrification technologies; and leading technology assessments in advanced energy storage, power electronics, controls for publication.<BR>
