<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hello all,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am using eQuest to model an
unconditioned warehouse with conditioned office space in one corner. The
warehouse has 40 ft high ceilings. The office space has 10 ft high ceilings,
above which is a mezzanine that includes the remaining 30ft (and opens up to the
rest of the warehouse). Only the office space is conditioned. I have modeled the
whole building as one shell with the office corner as a separate
zone.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I can add and remove interior walls in the detailed
interface until the geometry is right, but then I don't know how to designate
the "lower" space as conditioned and the mezzanine space as unconditioned.
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>My question is; Have I taken the right approach to
modeling this situation? And how can condition the office and not the
mezzanine?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Should I use 3 different shells (warehouse, office,
and mezzanine)? I don't think I want a 30ft plenum.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Any advice would be very helpful.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thanks,</FONT></DIV>
