The functions listed in Volume 5 of the DOE-2/eQUEST help system relate
specifically to the compliance analysis mechanism built into one of the
eQUEST modules. These functions are not directly available to users
within eQUEST or any other interface at this time. They are however
available (along with many other functions) to those who develop
"rulesets" that are capable of querying, manipulating, simulating and
reporting on most all aspects of DOE-2.2 building models.<br>
This capability is the backbone of eQUEST's California Title-24
compliance analysis feature. We are also using it more and more to
develop QC-related rulesets for various analysis projects and are
beginning to develop a LEED (90.1 App-G) related ruleset to help
automate portions of those analyses.<br>
And for what it is worth - the DOE-2\NHRList.txt file you reference is
in fact the key source of information that drives this module's ability
to retrieve all of the non-hourly DOE-2 simulation results.<br>

Also worth noting - the module that contains these ruleset processing
capabilities also has a variety of exported functions that other
software tools can link directly to in order to automate things like
retrieval of DOE-2 simulation results. We do not currently produce a
user interface providing access to these capabilities, but are happy to
provide individuals with the necessary information to utilize these
features through their own software development. In-house use of such
products does not require licensing (other than acceptance of the
standard eQUEST/DOE-2.2 freeware licenses) but distribution of those
products does require additional licensing.<br>
