ContamW can be used for this purpose but you need to prescribe the
temperatures since ContamW will not simultaneously compute the
temperatures for you. It is especially useful if you used mechanical
systems in the building and you have some estimation about the atrium
temperature distributions. If you need to compute the zonal temperatures
and infiltration airflow simultaneously, a better solution is to use
Transys---which includes the multi-zone airflow module of ContamW, I
believe---to coupled airflow and thermal simulation.

I’m currently looking at problems which may arise due to stack effect in
a high rise mixed use building in London. Although most tall buildings
these days have relatively good air tightness the proposed building will
have the possibility of air penetrating the office façades from about 20m
to 100m (70ft to 330ft) and again where there is apartments from 180m to
230m (600ft to 760ft). It is also possible that significant infiltration
will occur at the top of the building. A number of lift shafts and
stairwells under worst case situations allow this air to travel the full
or close to the full height of the building.
I have found a number of papers which discuss this topic but I haven’t
come across a means of quickly estimating worst case scenario pressure
differences for individual lift shaft or stairwells. Does anyone know of
a calculation tool or similar which could do this. I have downloaded a
program called COMTAMW. Does anyone know if this is a useful programme
for proposed buildings where all the parameters are not know and may have
to be estimated?
Kind Regards,
