I'm working on my Ph.D. at the University of
Toronto. I'm a specialist in building science and my research is focusing
on curtain walls.

My goal is to model a curtain wall spandrel cavity
in order to obtain such info such as (i) cavity air temps (ii) material surface
temps (iii) temperature lags (thermal mass) (iv) day gain versus night loss ,
etc. Currently, I'm using ENERGY10 with some success. Since this
program generally focuses on whole buildings, I'm inputting my cavity as a very
small 'whole' building. I think ENERGY10 will limit me to general trends
and not be able to give and specifics further down the road.

My question...can anyone suggest some other
programs to model such a cavity.
