The AEE, Assoc. of Energy Engineers offers the CEM certification.... Certified
Energy Manager.
<p>This certification is of debatable value, in my opinion. In my
work, I have worked with many who have acquired this certification.
Many individuals I found barely had competence in efficiency and knew little
of common HVAC systems and applications.
<p>I suppose it is like any certification or professional registration...
there are those who are highly skilled and quite capable, and others marginally
so.
